THE HUNGER PROJECT
The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Our approach is different – we see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. We shift the mindsets of women and men so they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then, through our programs such as education, microfinance, agriculture and health, we empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves.

The Unlock program will have you shift gears and enable you to rethink what is possible in your personal and professional life. The Unlock program is a unique opportunity to visit the Elected Women Representatives of Udaipur, India and be immersed in a powerful journey with those who have transformed their lives from 'I can't' to 'I can' to 'We can'.

The Hunger Project in India works to strengthen women’s political leadership in local governance in India, so that they are effective Elected Women Representatives (EWRs) in their constituencies, and are able to practice good governance, advocate for social and gender justice, and ensure food security.
