Ending World Hunger

My name is Grace, and I am the Chair of  The Hunger Project Australia's (THPA) Youth Board. 

I joined the Youth Board early 2021, and have since had the opportunity to work with other passionate, like-minded individuals to raise awareness and funds for the incredible work that THP does internationally to empower people to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty.

THP has reached approximately 16.1 million people living in rural villages throughout India, Bangladesh, Africa and Latin America. Through education, Microfinance loans, agriculture and health, THP continues to empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources to break the poverty cycle. 

Together, I believe we can end world hunger. Through investing in the work THP does, you are helping to drive change. With the average Microfinance loan being $60, a donation of this amount could allow THP to provide Financial Literacy training for community members to enable them to start small businesses, earn an income and support their families.
