The Hunger Project Australia's Youth Board
Hi All, I'm Mel and I'm a member of The Hunger Project Australia's Youth Board.In Feb 2018 I went to Senegal, Africa, with 20 incredible woman as part of the Business Chicks Immersion Program to see The Hunger Projects' work first hand. This was a hugely impactful and profound experience for me which deepened my passion and commitment to being a contributing part of the solution to end chronic persistent hunger by 2030.
Gaining such insight in to the unique, grass roots, educational and women centric model THP employ was an invaluable and inspiring proof of concept which I still draw and learn from daily.
I'm thrilled to sit on the Youth Board and am very excited for what we can achieve together in our inaugural year.
