Why THP? Why NOW?
Dean and I have committed to fundraise $1,200 each for The Hunger Project Australia (THP) as part of the THP Victorian Leadership Immersion Weekend*.
We have chosen THP because we believe having enough food to eat is a fundamental human right. THP sees people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem, as they break the cycle of top-down, aid-driven charity models that perpetuate the cycle of dependency.
Every $10 donation gets you one entry into the Rediscovering Hawthorn raffle. Prizes include:
1. $100 dining voucher @ Vaporetto Bar & Eatery
2. Two for One Lido cinema tickets
3. 12 x bottles of organic and minimal intervention wines from Minimum
4. $20 x 5 vouchers from Ribs & Burgers
5. $25 voucher @ Tinto Spanish restaurant (for spend above $100)
Even if you don't live/ work in the Hawthorn area and have no interest in the prizes, please consider donating generously. Your tax-deductible donation will empower THP's village partners to enact change within their own communities to create a brighter future without hunger or poverty. We thank you for your support.
